New Marin, de Jonge and Ramirez
We are always getting new and interesting instruments coming through the showroom. We’ll have some better photos up soon, but here is a sampling of our new inventory. We recently received a new Juan Antonio Marin. Juan is the Grandson of the great Granada builder Antonio Marin Montero and is carrying on the family tradition with guitars that have that much-coveted Granada sound. This guitar is a gem.
We also just reacquired a 1996 Joshia de Jonge guitar to go along with our 1995 Sergei de Jonge. This was one of her early guitars built in the style of her father, with his label, but signed by her.
We have a 1969 Ramirez 1a that everyone at the shop agrees is possibly the best sounding Ramirez they have had the chance to play. Beautiful straight grain Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The sound is big full and with a bit more warmth that your average Ramirez 1a.
