New Greg Oxrieder Flamenco Is On It’s Way!

Greg Oxrieder has been building instruments in the Seattle area for over thirty years and has been working with us at the Rosewood Guitar shop for almost as long. He has consistently been one of our favorite builders. Since we are expecting a new flamenco from him in the coming weeks, we thought it would be nice highlight his work a bit on the blog.

Greg is currently based out of Bellevue, WA. He recently retired from doing restoration work at the renowned Rafael Carrabba Violin shop and is spending more time building guitars; luckily for us! I stopped by his shop the other day, saw the new guitar coming along and also got to try out his No. 3 guitar that recently found its way back home. They are both looking good! His fit and finish is always spot-on and the sound of his instruments is consistently lush, complex and evenly balanced. Because of this, and as is the case with this new flamenco, his guitars are often spoken for well before they ever get hung up in the show room.
