Stephanie Jones in concert Saturday, September 30th

The Seattle Classic Guitar Society is proud to present Stephanie Jones in concert Saturday, September 30th at 7:30pm at the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall at Benaroya Hall.

Stephanie Jones is a world-renowned soloist and chamber musician who specializes in classical guitar performance. She is currently based in Germany and teaches at the Universität Augsburg. Stephanie continues to perform and give master classes around the world. She has released three solo albums; Open Sky, Colours of Spain, and Bach, the Fly, and the Microphone. Stephanie was a member of the acclaimed Weimar Guitar Quartet, and also collaborated with Karen Gomyo on her album A Piazzolla Trilogy with BIS Records. Stephanie has won numerous awards in prestigious competitions, including first prize at the Hannabach Guitar competition, Uppsala International Guitar Festival Competition, and Fine Music Network Young  “Virtuoso of the Year” Competition.

For this concert, Stephanie Jones will play music by Bach, Charlton, Edwards, Sinesi, Golubov, Piazzolla, and Jobim/Dyens.
