Eigensztz 1997
This guitar is from Swiss luthier Andreas Eigensatz. In the 1980s Eigensatz was an apprentice in the legendary Fleta workshop in Barcelona, Spain. We originally purchased this guitar new from Andreas when he was building only 8 guitars a year. The guitar has a lovely, refined sound with lots of detail and rich overtones. The wood choice is quite nice with Swiss spruce for the top, a back of old Brazilian rosewood from 1940 and very dense Macassar ebony for the sides. The rosette is of a beautiful, intricate design with complimentary tie block inlay.
