Tim Christian 00

This is one of two new guitars from Washington luthier Tim Christian. Tim has a background in guitar building and repair going back many years and has just recently gotten back to devoting more time to making guitars. Tim is very knowledgeable about historic building styles from Martin and others and incorporates some of the best ideas from different eras in his guitar design. This 00 model has Martin 1930s-style forward shifted scalloped X-bracing. The guitar sounds great for light flatpicking or fingerstyle. The voice has a lot of clarity, detail and character. As with Tim’s other guitar the workmanship is first-rate and quite a value for the price.
