Jellinghaus Milestones of Music 2022 Torres Modelo 17A

This guitar built in 2022 is fashioned after an Antonio Torres 1864 Modelo 17A. The workmanship and aesthetic details are really lovely. With a smaller body and 630mm scale length it is very easy to play and has a distinct lyrical voice. Wolfgang Jellinghaus (1951-2024) was a German luthier who, following in his father’s footsteps, began building guitars at an early age. In 2013 in partnership with Martinez guitars he set up a workshop in China to build quality guitars in the style of historically famous builders.
