Jellinghaus Milestones of Music Torres Modelo 77 2020

Wolfgang Jellinghaus (1951-2024) was a German luthier who, following in his father’s footsteps, began building guitars at an early age. In 2013 in partnership with Martinez guitars he set up a workshop in China to build quality guitars in the style of historically famous builders. This guitar, built in 2020 is in the style of an 1884 Antonio Torres Modelo 77 guitar. The guitar is small, friendly and well suited to either a small person or someone who just wants something different. Familiar pieces are really fun to play on this guitar with its focused resonant voice coming from a smaller body. The workmanship is outstanding and the flamed maple back and sides are really attractive.
