Rozas 1993 #165

This guitar is from Spanish luthier Ignacio Rozas.  Rozas worked in the Ramirez shop from 1959-1969 and the Contreras shop from 1970-1987 before establishing his own shop. This is one of his top models and is truly a concert-worthy instrument. The sound is bold and full with booming basses and clear balanced trebles. The guitar shows some finish marks in the French polish but is in otherwise very good condition. The Brazilian rosewood is dark and beautiful. The aesthetic details including the purfling and matador hat style headstock are nice touches that are distinctly Rozas.
