This is a great sounding flamenco with a lot of character and charm.  The distinctive rosette is a unique blend of dyed wood and abalone. The back and sides are Port Orford cedar which is closely related to cypress and produces a similar dry, responsive sound. The tuners are mechanical pegs with an internal gear mechanism  that makes for precise tuning. The overall sound is very good for a flamenco guitar in this price range
