Manuel Velazquez 1968

Manuel Velazquez 1968

This is a less common Pau Ferro (iron wood) back and sides Velazquez. The wood has beautiful color and grain pattern and is very dense. It is also hard to plane so it’s no surprise that it is not often used. Any Velazquez is a treasure, this guitar is no exception. This guitar has been well worn in and loved, but it is still very much alive! Loud, clear, balanced and with a personality in a way quite similar to some of the old Hauser guitars.
