Masaji Nobe 2004 SOLD

This guitar is from a fine Japanese luthier Masaji Nobe. It is somewhat unique in that it has a full 2″ nut width but a 630mm scale length. The shorter scale is quite nice for smaller hands or to just make some of those stretches just a little easier. The workmanship is excellent throughout. The flat sawn CSA rosewood is highly figured and quite lovely. There is some finish wear on the French polish top but the guitar is in otherwise very good condition with no cracks. The sound is full and lively, certainly not compromised by the short scale. We get a number of requests for concert quality short scale guitars but they are few and far between. This one fits the bill at a very good price.
