Javier Mengual Torres NT

This guitar is from one of the more senior builders in the Alhambra workshop Javier Mengual. The New Torres (NT) design is roughly based on traditional Torres bracing with minor modifications. The guitar features a French polish Canadian cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides and a 20th fret. The workmanship is impeccable throughout and the sound is full, clear and concert worthy. This guitar came to us in a recent batch of Alhambra “seconds” and was probably a sales rep sample with a 2023 label date. There are no visible flaws on the guitar only a small “2nd” stamp on the back of the headstock. This guitar is nearly $2000 less than the regular price for this model.
