Sipe #98 SOLD

This lovely guitar just came in from Maxwell Sipe. Max has been building guitars for our store for about 11 years. They have always been great but continue to get even better. This spruce top guitar has a warm, even tone with lovely bloom and roundness to the notes. Although the guitar is lattice braced it is not braced in the way of Smallman and others who combine lattice bracing with an ultra-thin top. Instead Max uses lattice bracing in this guitar as a variation on fan bracing to achieve a more traditional and very elegant sound.
