Manuel Rodriguez 1961

After a time in Spain in the workshop of Jose Ramirez, and later sharing a shop with Arcangel Fernandez, Manuel Rodriguez emigrated to Los Angles in 1959. During this period Manuel made many fine classical guitars owned by professional classical guitars players including Angel Romero. In 1973 Rodriguez returned to Madrid where he established a large scale production shop that produces the mass distributed Rodriguez guitars available today. This guitar, from the Los Angles era was formerly owned by jazz guitar great Al Hendrickson. The rosette is very unique, modern and colorful. Very cool!
