We are excited to be adding Ibanez steel string guitars to our selection of acoustic guitars. In our store a guitar has to earn its place based on sound and build quality. These guitars really exceed our expectations and are expertly crafted throughout. This guitar has Okoume back and sides giving it a sound close to that of the more expensive all mahogany Martin guitars. We are increasingly seeing guitar makers using alternate woods to some of the traditional tropical hardwoods. Okoume is a close substitute for mahogany and Ovangkol is a hardwood native to Africa that is a nice rosewood alternative. The sound of this guitar is really great and quite remarkable given the price.
