After time in Spain in the workshop of Jose Ramirez and later sharing a shop with Arcangel Fernandez, Manuel Rodriguez emigrated to Los Angeles in 1959. During this period Manuel made fine classical guitars owned by many professional players. In 1973 Rodriguez returned to Madrid where he established a large scale production shop that makes the mass distributed Rodriguez guitars available today. This guitar, from the Los Angeles era, has a very Spanish character with booming basses and a wonderful, lively tone.
